    The Mother Tongue Languages Symposium (MTLS) is an annual event co-organised by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the three Mother Tongue Language Learning and Promotion Committees (MTLLPCs). 

    It is supported by the Early Childhood Development Agency, the Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism, Singapore Press Holdings and the National Library Board.

    The aims of the symposium is to:
    (a) continue to promote bilingualism and
    (b) strengthen school and community efforts in the teaching and learning of Mother Tongue Languages in Singapore’s families.

    The symposium is open to the public on 18 Aug 2018, Sat. There will be sharing sessions by educators, performances, exhibition booths and even a Mother Tongue Languages Bookstore.
